Our musicians

From the age of 5, Landy began studying flute, performing as a soloist at the young age of 13 with Orquesta Sinfónica de Michoacán. From 2012 until 2017, she was the principal flutist of the Orquesta Filarmónica Juvenil de Morelia. From 2017 until 2020, she became part of the faculty of the Orquesta Escuela de Puerto Vallarta, as a transversal flute teacher, recorder flute, musical initiation and musical language. She is currently performing with OSV, teaching at IAMPV and at Secundaria Guillermo González Camarena

Angel is a violinist and educator, with great interest in making all styles of music. She studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and was on the music faculty at UNAM. She holds many honours, including Winner of the interinstitutional violin competition CDMX 2017, and has premiered works by various new composers. In addition to OSV, she is a member of the Ceres Quartet and teaches the young musicians at Club Vallarta. Watch her interview on YouTube.
